Guessing their size without asking
Asking ruins the surprise, so use this instead: find a t-shirt they already wear and like, lay it flat, and measure armpit to armpit. Double that number and compare it against the size chart on the product page.
Two things worth knowing. Our tees are cut on a unisex block, so anyone used to women's sizing will find the same nominal size roomier than expected — many people who wear a women's medium prefer a unisex small. Personalised gifts are made after you order, not pulled off a shelf. Production takes 5–7 working days, then delivery is 5–10 working days in the US, 7–12 in Canada, 7–14 in the UK and 10–20 elsewhere.
Order at least four weeks before the occasion. Three weeks is usually fine domestically. Anything under two weeks is a gamble, and customs delays are outside anyone's control.
